Original story
Although times can get tough, one may think they're alone, traumatic events have happened and/arise a few things are for sure: 1) Your Courage is Your Strength & Your Strength is Your Courage 2) One Day at a Time & One Step at a Time 3) Never Give Up on Youself as You are Stronger than you think, know, or may be giving yourself credit for.
I've been in the healing process for a long while and have learned a lot about myself as well as how I could possibly help others as well. I hope some of my photography continues helping others find their Courage and Strength. Healing comes in all forms and ways; it's up to us as individuals to find what works best for ourselves and for me it's spending time with my daughters and grandchildren, photography, motivational speaking, art, music, dancing, filming/co-directing and producing, acting, volunteering, and sharing with others some of the greatest things God has created and grated us by the many things we do and try.
Throughout my life I've had so many ups and downs with struggles because limited abilities, traumatic events, and self worth. Some struggles and traumatic things are child abuse and neglect, grew up in foster care when I was younger than back with biological parents, bullying, rape, incest, sexual assault and harassment in the workplace, addiction, teenage mom, divorced, homeless 4 times, natural disaster (tornado), discrimination, 2 fire(s), loss of 2 babies, suicide attempt(s), domestic violence w/gun violence, became disabled in my 20s, amongst other things that still break my heart and can make for a day to not always be so great, however, I keep trying no matter what. I have come to enjoy photography more and more as a creative way to express myself while also hoping to continue healing and inspiring others to also find their Courage and Strength to make it through their struggles and healing. I hope I can continue with this for a very long time as it brings me some comfort and peacefulness knowing that I am learning, growing, and living myself while also helping others along my journey in life. Peace and Love Survivor
