Message to a Survivor
I’ve learned that nobody can give you closure. You went through the pain, you deserve your own closure. Don’t let other people who don’t know what you’ve been through determine how you process your trauma. You are never alone, you made it out.🫶
I was 5 and my older cousin was 9. She was the favorite grandkid so when she began showing me “the game” I was too scared to be judged by my own family that I decided to take the pain. When people found out about it the case it was closed because she was a minor. It ended when I was 10 and she was 14, I deserve justice for my childhood being taken from me. The case has been looked down upon due to her being a minor and the fact that it was two girls but it caused major damage. I might not even be able to reproduce.. I am now in the process of learning about myself and what all i can do to be able to maybe have kids one day. I made it out though, little me would be so proud.
