Message of Healing
Healing to me means taking on a journey that isn't linear and where you sometimes loose track of the bigger picture. It's forgiving myself for what I did or didn't do. It's accepting and honouring all my feelings that come with that chapter of my life. It's giving myself some grace and extending the kindness I have for others on myself. It's accepting that you can't change what happened but you can try to take control over your life again. Healing is the hardest and most challenging thing I've ever had to do but it is also showing me how strong I am, even on my dark days. It's giving me back some new sense of self.
